Cat6 data drops, structured cabling, terminations and patch panels, run by the same licensed electrical contractor who is already in the walls pulling power. One crew, one schedule, and the data drops land where the desks and registers actually go.

Most offices and storefronts in the Upstate get their network cabling as an afterthought: the electrician finishes, the drywall goes up, and then somebody has to fish cable through finished walls to reach the front counter. We plan the data with the power. When we lay out the receptacles for a new office or a retail upfit, we lay out the data drops at the same time, set the boxes and low-voltage brackets at rough-in, and run the cable before the walls close.
Cameras, door access and AV. We can rough in boxes and pathways and run the low-voltage cable for cameras, door access and AV as part of an upfit. Programming and configuring those systems usually stays with your security, AV or IT vendor. Tell us who that is and we will build the cabling to their spec.
Data cabling and electrical share the same walls, the same ceiling space and the same schedule. Keeping them on one contractor means:

Small retail and franchise-style storefronts are a good fit for us. On tenant upfits our scope is the electrical and the data: power, lighting, equipment circuits and network cabling. For example, Tessco has done the electrical and data on upfits for several The UPS Store locations. On those jobs the electrical and data were our whole scope; the general contractor, landlord or franchise team handled the rest of the build. We work to the brand or franchise cabling spec when there is one. More on how we handle upfits is on the tenant upfit page.
When an office gets reconfigured, the new rooms need data along with the new outlets and lighting. We walk the space with you, mark drop locations on the floor plan, decide where the network equipment will live, and give you a written scope before anything starts.

Both Cat6 and Cat6A. Cat6 covers most office and retail networks. Cat6A is the pick when your IT provider, landlord or franchise spec calls for it, or when you want more headroom for faster equipment later. We build to the spec.
Yes. In a finished space we run above the ceiling and fish down inside walls where we can, and use surface raceway where we cannot. We will tell you up front which drops can be hidden and which cannot.
Yes. Every run is labeled at both ends and tested before we leave, so you know each drop works and where it lands on the patch panel.
We install the cabling, terminations and patch panels. Setting up switches, routers, Wi-Fi, cameras and door access is usually done by your IT, security or AV provider, and we coordinate with them so the cabling matches what they are installing.
Both. We are a licensed electrical contractor, and the data cabling is usually part of a larger electrical scope on an upfit or office remodel. Doing both together is where it saves you time.
Every job is quoted on its own scope: number of drops, distances, ceiling and wall conditions, and what goes at the network location. Send a floor plan through the Get Estimate form and you get a written scope back.
