These terms cover the use of this website and the messages we send you. They are not the contract for your construction work. Any job we do for you is governed by the written scope and price we give you and you sign, and where the two differ, that signed agreement controls.
Who we are
Tessco Construction, an S corporation located at 2424 S Pine St, Spartanburg, SC 29302. Licensed in South Carolina as a Residential Builder and Electrical contractor under CLM 112844, in North Carolina for electrical under L37525, and in Georgia for electrical under EN219168.
SMS terms of service
Tessco Construction may send text messages to customers who opt in by starting a chat on our website and providing a phone number, or by giving us their number and agreeing to be texted.
The messages we send are service related: scheduling and appointment confirmations, reminders, job updates, quote follow ups and review requests.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Our privacy policy is at tesscoconstruction.com/privacy-policy.
Estimates and quotes
Anything shown on this website is information, not a quote. A quote is only binding when we have walked the site, put it in writing, and both parties have signed it. Work outside that written scope is a change order and is priced separately before it is carried out.
Scheduling and access
Scheduling depends on weather, permitting, inspection timelines and material availability. We will tell you when a date moves and why. You are responsible for giving us safe access to the work area on the agreed dates.
Warranty
Our work carries a one year parts and labor warranty from the date the job is completed. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, alteration by others, weather events, or normal wear. Manufacturer warranties on installed equipment are provided by the manufacturer and passed through to you.
Subcontracted work
Some trades, including roofing, are carried out by vetted subcontractors that we manage. Tessco Construction remains your point of contact for scheduling and completion of that work.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Spartanburg County, South Carolina.
